I love to cook. But perhaps even more than that, I love to feed people. I relish the satisfaction of a well prepared meal, a delicious morsel, a decadent cake. Food not only sustains us, but has the potential to make us happy.
Kiss the Cook was born as an idea to evoke the flavour and memory of the family kitchen, to provide nourishment and pleasure to women and men who perhaps don't have the time or the inclination to cook.
I am in my kitchen every day. I enjoy good quality food, from the simple to the gloriously extravagant. Michelin stars can't measure the taste of fresh bread and dripping with zesty Spanish onion eaten in my grandmother's kitchen...
